Padma Bhushan awardee Mumtaz Ali nominated as Chancellor for MANUU

Mumtaz Ali a Noted social reformer, educationist, spiritual leader and Padma Bhushan awardee has been nominated as the Chancellor, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) for a period of three-years.

The President of India in his



capacity as Visitor of the University has appointed Mumtaz Ali (Pen Name Sri M ( Madhukarnath)) as the sixth Chancellor of the University. The new Chancellor’s appointment is effective from December 17, 2021, as per the notification released by the University.
