The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) 2021 February session has begun. The engineering entrance exam is of three-hour duration and will be held online.


The JEE Main 2021 exam is being conducted in across 331 cities with several measures in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.


A total number of 6.6 lakh students have registered to appear for the JEE Main 2021 February examinations.


The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

SOPs for JEE Main 2021:


. The JEE Main exam centre will provide hand sanitizer to the candidates



at the entrance and inside of the exam hall.


. It is mandatory for the candidates to wear the fresh 3-ply mask provided by the agency at the exam centre.


. Candidates will need to maintain a gap between two seats.


. The admit cards will be scanned with barcode readers.


. Rough sheets will be kept at all desks before the start of the exam by invigilators.


. The seats of all exam centers will be sanitized before the commencement of every exam shift.


. The work stations and keyboards will also be disinfected.


. All the candidates will be asked to enter the exam centers with masks and sanitizers.
