Students who appeared for the CUET UG 2025 Accountancy paper between May 13 and 16 now have more time to decide if they want to take the re-test. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for submitting consent until 1:00 Pm, on May 24, 2025. Originally set for May 23, 2025, the date was extended to allow more students the opportunity to decide.
The re-test was announced after irregularities were found in the original question paper. A revised version will be used in the
fresh exam.
In its official notice, the NTA made it clear: if no response is received by the deadline, the original scores will be considered final, held between May 13 and May 16, 2025. The new test date will be shared later.
NTA further clarified that this step is part of its standard protocol to maintain fairness in the testing process. The re-test will only be for the affected subject --Accountancy -- and only for those who took the test during the initial dates.
