NEET UG Counselling Round 1 choice-filling ends, seat allotment result on August 11

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced an extension for the choice filling and locking process in Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling. According to the official notice, the decision was taken in view of multiple requests from NRI/CW candidates and ongoing court cases.

As per the revised schedule, candidates can fill their choices from 6:30 pm on August 8, 2025,



until 11:59 pm on August 9. The choice locking window will be open from 6 pm to 11:59 pm on August 9. The Round 1 seat allotment results will be declared on August 11.

Earlier, the MCC had already extended the deadline to August 7, at 1:30 pm due to technical glitches on the official website, allowing candidates additional time to select their preferred medical and dental colleges.
