In a significant update for candidates preparing for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the Scribe Details Portal for eligible Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Aspirants who wish to avail themselves of the scribe facility can now submit the required information through the official NEET website within the stipulated deadline.

The NEET UG 2026 re-test is scheduled to

be conducted on June 21 after the original examination held on May 3 was cancelled amid allegations of irregularities. The examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode at multiple centres across India and overseas.

NTA has launched a dedicated portal to facilitate eligible PwD/PwBD candidates who require assistance from a scribe during the examination. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
