Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday chaired a high-level review meeting to assess preparations for the upcoming NEET (UG) re-examination, directing officials to ensure the test is conducted with complete transparency, strengthened security arrangements and zero room for
lapses.
The meeting comes amid continued scrutiny over the NEET-UG 2026 controversy and concerns surrounding examination integrity. During the review, the minister stressed that shortcomings identified in the earlier examination process must be addressed comprehensively before the re-test is conducted.
