The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a revised schedule for the Neet PG 2025 counselling process under the 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) for MD, MS and PG Diploma courses.
According to the updated timeline, the Round 2 online registration will open at 12 pm on December 5, 2025, and remain open until 12 noon on December 9 (payment facility available until 3 pm on December 9).
Following registration, choice filling and locking will be available from December 6 up to 11:55 pm on December 9. The choice-locking window itself opens at 4 pm on December 9 and closes at 11:55 pm the same day.
Seat allotment processing will take place between December 10 and December
11, with the results scheduled for December 12, 2025.
Post-allotment, candidates will be expected to report and join the allotted college between December 13 and December 21, with verification of joined candidates’ data to be done from December 22 to December 23.
These dates follow the seat allotment and are part of a comprehensive four-round counselling structure that includes Round 3 and an Online Stray Vacancy Round, subject to availability of seats.
Before this revision, the MCC had earlier updated the seat matrix by adding 239 PG seats in deemed universities and removing 235 PG-DNB seats across government and private institutes.
