The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the provisional examination timetable for NEET-PG 2026 and NEET-MDS 2026, offering much-needed clarity to medical aspirants preparing for postgraduate entrance exams.

The announcement comes amid ongoing debates around admission policies, even as the Delhi High Court recently upheld the government's decision to lower qualifying cut-off marks for NEET-PG

2025.

According to the official NBEMS notification, NEET-MDS 2026 is expected to be conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Candidates aspiring for admission to postgraduate dental courses must complete their mandatory internship by May 31, 2026, which has been set as the eligibility cut-off date.

The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at designated centres across India.
