Attention students, as per reports, the Maharashtra School Education Department has directed all the state’s primary and secondary education officers and the schools of all Zilla Parishads to announce the results of classes 1 to 9 and 11 as soon as possible. Further, the results could be declared on the official website, or, can be informed on the registered movie phones of the parents or students. The decision is taken so as to commence the new academic session.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak followed by the subsequent Pan-India lockdown, major boards were not able to conduct papers, for many classes, moreover, majority of the boards have decided to promote the students of classes 1 to 9 and 11, and it seems like Maharashtra is also following

the same path. The education department had earlier made the announcement of the promotion of classes 1-8 students across the state without exams. Later the same was decided for class 11 too.

The Brihanmumbai Association of Heads of Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools asked the education department to review its decision as it wasn't possible for all schools to prepare results because the academic records were in school premises and the teachers were not allowed to travel in the state.

With this, the School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has also requested for the evaluation process of class 10 board exams in low-risk areas. The exam copies had not yet reached the exam centres as yet due to lockdown which would be done now.
