JEE Main and Advanced qualifiers can register for counselling from June 10

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially released the JoSAA counselling schedule for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs). The JoSAA 2025 registration will begin from June 10 at 5 pm on the official website -- josaa.nic.in.

Students who qualified JEE Advanced 2025 (for IITs) and JEE Main 2025 (for NIT+ system) can register and fill their preferred courses and colleges starting that



day.

The first round of seat allotment will be announced on June 20. After each round, candidates can choose to either ‘freeze’, ‘float’ or ‘slide’ their allocated seat. This helps them hold or upgrade their seat based on availability in upcoming rounds.

Unlike earlier years, there will be no in-person reporting. All document verification, seat acceptance and fee payment will be conducted online. This makes the process smoother and accessible from anywhere.
