Jamia Millia Islamic organizes helpline numbers to support mental health of students over COVID-19

Jamia Millia Islamia has decided to give a virtual hug to its students with phone calls. Vice-Chancellor Jamia Millia Islamic has constituted a Mental Health and Counselling Committee consisting of senior faculty members to facilitate mental health and well being of the university's students. Through a team of experienced faculty members in providing psycho-socio support. The committee is offering telephonic as well as online support to its students who may be experiencing any sort of trauma due to the



current situation in the country.

The university will keep the information shared by students confidential. The team of experts will analyse the information with the permission of the students. In fact, once the remedial session is done, the conversation will be deleted.

Students are asked to call at the specific number as mentioned in the circular available at the official website of the university Monday- Thursday either from 11 am to 1 pm or 3 pm to 5 pm.
