The university has announced the introduction of undergraduate programmes in German Studies and Japanese Studies under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP), along with an Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling.

The admission process for all three programmes is now open online. Interested candidates can apply through the official university website until September 6, 2025. The admission test for these courses is scheduled to be held on September 14, 2025.

The new undergraduate courses, BA (Hons) in German Studies and BA

These courses have been designed to combine language proficiency with cultural studies, translation and interpretation, and industry-focused training. According to the university, the aim is to equip students with the skills and global perspective needed to succeed in today’s interconnected world.

Jamia said in a statement that the courses will expand students’ knowledge beyond traditional language learning and prepare them for diverse career opportunities in international organisations, education, research, and cultural exchange programmes.
