The University Placement Cell of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the beginning of placements for the 2026 graduating batch. Students from various engineering programmes have received offers from multinational companies across different roles and salary packages, according to an official statement.
The placement season began
with a student from B.Tech in Computer Engineering receiving a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from Optum for the role of Software Development Engineer with a package of Rs 18 lakh per annum. Further, as per the institute, four other students from the same programme have been selected by IDFC First Bank as Application Engineers with offers of Rs 16 lakh per annum each.
