The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Jammu, will conduct online classes after 18 members of the faculty, staff and students tested Covid positive. The IIT Jammu has been conducting periodic Covid-19 testing amid a spike in Covid cases.

The RT-PCR was conducted on 300 people on campus. 18 members were tested Covid positive. However, everyone is under



quarantine and has mild symptoms. IIT Jammu is currently under sanitisation.

Many students have left the campus for semester break in December. IIT Jammu will conduct all classes online and the staff and the faculty members will continue to work from home until further instructions. IIT Jammu has also confirmed that their faculty and students were vaccinated.
