IIT Hyderabad researchers makes own sanitizers and even supply 100 litres everyday to Sangareddy District Administration

IIT Hyderabad has been not only making its own sanitizers but has also been supplying 100 litres of hand sanitizer each day to the Sangareddy District Administration.

The hand sanitizers were developed by a research group led by Dr. Jyotsnendu Giri, Associate Professor,



Dept of Biomedical Engineering. They are being handed over to the Sangareddy Collectorate, which facilitates dissemination of the product to the local population.

IIT Hyderabad has been doing this work since April 4, 2020 to help combat the local community against Coronavirus.
