Ignou reduces 50% fee for Yoga programmes ahead of International Yoga Day 2020

Ahead of International Yoga Day, amid coronavirus lockdown, Ignou is offering a certificate course in Yoga. Indira Gandhi National Open University, Ignou, is offering a six-month certificate course in Yoga since June 2019. It comes under the School of Health Sciences (SOHS). Students can also avail courses offered by Ignou this International Yoga Day on June 21,



2020.

Yoga and Naturopathy certificate programmes are available for those with undergraduate, postgraduate degrees and diplomas. Earlier the fee was rupees 10, 000 and now during lockdown it has been reduced to rupees 5000 now.

Various regional centers such as Delhi, Dehradun, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Ladnun, Chennai, Mumbai, and Pune have the programmes.
