IGNOU introduces BA in Gender Studies (BAGS) in ODL mode

Gandhi National Open University of India (IGNOU) today launched a new BA course on Gender Studies (BAGS) in Open Distance Learning (ODL) mode. Interested candidates can now apply for the program at the official IGNOU website – ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

This new program will be organized by the School of Gender and



Development Studies of IGNOU. It will be three years long and taught in English. The tuition fee for the program will be Rs 4000 per annum.

To be eligible for this Bachelor of Arts (Gender Studies) course, interested candidates must have successfully passed class 12 (or equivalent) from any registered school affiliated to any Indian board.
