HYDERABAD: Hyderabad's Ramya Narayanasamy, who secured All India Rank (AIR) 35 in Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) for admissions into Indian Institute of Technology  by scoring 316 out of 366 marks, is the topper among girls in the country.


When contacted, Ramya said, “I was expecting a rank below 150. I had never thought I would be the topper among girls



in the country. I would be opting for Computer Science (CS) from IIT-Bombay.”  Ramya, daughter of Dr N Saroja, a school principal and VS Narayanasamy, a Charted Accountant, did her intermediate from Sri Chaitanya Narayana. Ramya said that she is interested in the fields of Augmented Intelligence and Virtual Reality which is what made her decide to pursue graduation in Computer Science.
