Engineering counselling from July 5

The counseling for the admissions into engineering colleges would begin from July 5 and the classes of for the first year students would be held from July 29. The government has released the schedule for the counseling on Wednesday. It informed that the web based first phase counseling would start from July 5 and would continue on the next day. Rankers from one to 45,000 would be called for this session.

Counseling for rankers from 45,001 to 90,000 would be held on July 7 and 8, for 90,001 to last would be held on July 9 and 10. Change of options would be allowed



on July 10 and 11. Allotments would be held on July 14 and selected should report to the colleges on July 21 and should pay the fee.

The final phase of admissions would be held on July 24 and 25, allotments would be done on July 27 and classes would begin from July 29. Meanwhile, addressing a press conference Education minister K Srihari said that number of engineering seats would be known only after the completion of affiliation process. He said that the affiliation process was going on and it would be completed before the commencement of counseling.
