Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi on Thursday reviewed the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) preparations for upcoming national-level examinations, including measures to strengthen exam security and improve the experience for candidates.
Joshi met with the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, and senior NTA officials to assess overall preparedness and ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the upcoming examinations.
The Education Minister said in a post on X that the review focused on four key areas: strengthening examination security, improving candidate convenience, ensuring efficient conduct of examinations, and enhancing coordination across the examination ecosystem.
During the meeting, Joshi stressed the need to further strengthen examination security and ensure the efficient and transparent
conduct of upcoming national-level examinations.
The discussions also focused on improving coordination among stakeholders involved in the examination process and ensuring timely communication with students and aspirants.
Joshi also emphasised the importance of providing students with a seamless and student-friendly examination experience.
The review comes as the NTA prepares to conduct various national-level entrance and eligibility examinations. The agency is tasked with ensuring that examination processes are conducted in a secure, efficient and candidate-friendly manner.
The minister’s review is aimed at reinforcing preparedness across different stages of the examination process, from security arrangements and coordination to communication with candidates.
