Railways announces the recruitment process for over 89 thousand posts

Railways has announced the recruitment process for over 89 thousand posts. According to Ministry of Railway, online applications are invited for Group C Level-1 like Track maintainer, Points man, Helper, Gateman, Porter in the age group of 18-31 years. For Group C Level -2 categories like Assistant Loco Pilots, Technicians in the age group of 18-28 years through Railway Recruitment Boards websites. 

The candidate who have passed Class 10th and ITI will be eligible for



Group C Level-1 posts, while those who have passed Class Xth and ITI or diploma in engineering or a graduation in engineering can apply for Level-2 posts.

Applications for Group C Level-2 will be accepted till 5th March and for Group C Level-1 till 12th of March. Free Sleeper Class Railway Pass facility will be available for SC/ST candidates for Computer Based Aptitude Tests, Physical Efficiency Tests, Document verification during the recruitment stages.
