Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated all the candidates who have successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Service exams, while also offering words of encouragement to those who did not clear the exams. He emphasised that failure in this instance should not be perceived as the end of one's journey, but rather as an opportunity to persevere and succeed in future attempts.

"I congratulate all those who have successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination, 2023. Their hard work, perseverance and dedication has paid off, marking the start of a promising career in public service. Their efforts will shape the future of our nation in the times to come. My best wishes to them," PM Modi posted X.

Also, PM Modi provided words of encouragement to the candidates who did not succeed in the UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2023 on Tuesday. The written portion took place in September 2023, followed by the Personality Test interviews held from January to April 2024. Aditya Srivastava clinched the top spot in the Civil Services Examination, 2023, with Animesh Pradhan securing second place and Donuru Ananya Reddy claiming third.

Among the top 10 achievers are P K Sidharth Ramkumar (4), Ruhani (5), Srishti Dabas (6), Anmol Rathore (7), Ashish Kumar (8), Nausheen (9), and Aishwaryam Prajapati (10). Notably, in recent years, women have showcased remarkable success, claiming top positions in the UPSC examinations.
