Manipur Edu Minister announces formation of special task force to implement NEP

Manipur Education Minister Dr. Thokchom Radheshyam today said that the formation of the special task force for effective implementation of the new education policy has been finalized and is ready for implementation in the State.

Briefing the media, the Minister said as a part of the series of steps being taken up for implementation of the new education policy, brainstorming sessions, discussions, and meetings on the National Education Policy, 2020  are being conducted with experts and officials by the



Department of Education.

Dr. Th. Radheshyam said that a meeting regarding the matter was held for the third time today with the representatives of Central Institutions imparting Higher Education and officials and Principals of DM University.  

He said during the meeting, a detailed discussion was held with the officials of the Central Institutions in the state and principals in respect of higher education with special focus on the implementation of the National Education Policy, 2020.
