The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU)-Hyderabad on Thursday entered into a strategic partnership with two German institutions — the Knowledge Foundation at Reutlingen University and the University of Kassel — to launch international integrated Bachelor’s-Master’s programmes.
The new offerings include: Integrated Bachelor’s–Master’s in Professional Software Engineering, International Master’s in Professional Software Engineering, and Master’s in Energy Systems.
These programmes are designed to provide students with a dual qualification — a Bachelor’s degree from JNTU-Hyderabad and a Master’s degree from the partner German
universities.
With academic components conducted in both India and Germany, the initiative aims to deliver global exposure, cross-cultural learning, and access to cutting-edge research and educational infrastructure.
The agreement was formally signed by Prof T Kishen Kumar Reddy, Vice Chancellor, JNTU-Hyderabad; Daniel Geigis, CEO, Knowledge Foundation, Reutlingen University; Prof Dirk Dahlhaus, head of ECE Programme, University of Kassel; Raj Vangapandu, president, German Varsity; and Dr N Bangararaju, CEO, Indo-Euro Synchronization (India).
This collaboration is expected to open global career pathways for Indian students in the technology and sustainable energy sectors.
