J&K Govt announces to begin NEP 2020 implementation from April 1

The government of Jammu and Kashmir announced on Thursday that from the beginning of April, the National Education Policy, 2020, is going to be implemented in the union territory. 

To resolve the operational issues being faced in the implementation of the education policy and other schemes,



a high level meeting chaired by Advisor to the LG Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, School Education and Literacy Department Secretary Anita Karwal and Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta was convened.

A senior official said, "The National Education Policy is being implemented in Jammu and Kashmir from April 1."
