After the surge of Covid-19 cases across Delhi, many institutes and offices have been shut down. The recent college to be put under lockdown in St. Stephen’s College, the campus of which has been closed after 13 students and two staff members have tested positive for Covid-19.

The students and staff members of St. Stephen’s College, which is affiliated with Delhi University, tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, after which the college administration took the decision to enforce Covid-19 protocols and

shut down the campus.

The college campus has been shut off for students till further notice after the recent Covid-19 outbreak, which was most likely spread due to a college trip organised in late March without proper permissions, as per the college authorities.

After being shut down for almost a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, St. Stephen’s college had allowed the students in the final year to come to campus for physical lessons in small batches, with several Covid-19 safety protocols in place.
