4.35 lakh youth register with OTR facility of Telangana Public Service Commission

Hyderabad: The number of youth registered with One Time Registration (OTR) facility of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has reached to 4.35 lakh so far. This service, one of its kind by any State public service commission, was started by the TSPSC on April 11 this year. Enrolling with the commission eases students’ application for relevant notification in future by the commission. Candidates can edit their OTR accounts as and when required and can directly apply to the posts they are eligible for.

It also gives them information updated from the Commission on notifications. On the other hand, the number of



applicants to posts announced by the Commission has been increasing with each passing day. Sources from the commission have informed that around 30,101 applications have been received for the post of Assistant Engineers (AE) in various departments. Notification for this was released on August 29 and the last date for the submission of application is September 28.

Similarly, about 149 applications have been received for Horticulture Officer posts. Last date for the same is September 25. Around 588 applications were filed for the Agriculture Department so far and the last date of application is also September 25.
