Ahead of the re-NEET examination on June 21, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed preparedness measures at the National Testing Agency (NTA) and said multiple agencies have been put on alert to deal with potential cyber threats.
The review comes amid heightened scrutiny of examination security following allegations of irregularities in national-level entrance tests over the past year.
Speaking
after the review meeting, Pradhan said authorities are closely monitoring possible cyber risks ahead of the examination.
He said agencies have been alerted, and the government is also coordinating with states where the perceived risk level is higher.
The focus, according to officials, is to ensure smooth conduct of the examination and prevent any attempts to compromise the process through digital or technological means.
