The Delhi government has unveiled a digital initiative called the School Web App to transform the way schools operate and improve communication between parents, teachers, and administrators.

The new platform is designed as a one-stop solution for all school-related services and aims to make the education process more transparent, efficient, and accessible.

Launched by Education Minister Ashish Sood, the app is part of the government’s broader push to digitise governance and promote modern learning tools across its educational institutions.

Officials said the app will streamline classroom activities, attendance, performance tracking, and parent-teacher communication, creating a more collaborative environment between schools and

families.

One of the app’s main features is its ability to keep parents informed about their children’s academic progress. Through regular updates and notifications, parents will be able to monitor performance, attendance, and key school announcements in real time.

Education Minister Ashish Sood said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to building a “smarter and more inclusive education system” aligned with the vision of Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047.

He added that the app would reduce the administrative burden on teachers while improving time management for students. By making learning resources and institutional data digitally accessible, it is expected to strengthen accountability across all levels of the school system.
