Kakatiya University on Wednesday declared the Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) 2026 results, with 93.54 per cent of the students qualifying the examinations for admission to 39 PG programmes offered by the conventional universities in the state. A total of 52,697 candidates registered, 45,462 appeared and 42,526 qualified.
The results, released by TGCHE Chairman Prof. V Balakista Reddy, Kakatiya University Vice Chancellor Prof. K Pratap Reddy and
CPGET 2026 Convener Prof. Rajendra Katla, were made available on the website https://cpget.tgche.ac.in/.
This time, no entrance tests were conducted for admissions to six PG programmes – Arabic, Sericulture, Theatre Arts, Marathi, Persian and Electronics – as the applications received were fewer than the number of seats available in those programmes. According to officials, the admission notification will be issued in the third week of August.
