Clat 2026 exam date announced, registration to begin on August 1

The Consortium of National Law Universities has officially announced that CLAT 2026, the national law entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, will be held offline on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2 pm to 4pm.

Registration for the CLAT 2026 exam will open on August 1 and



close on October 31, giving candidates three months to complete their application.

The notification further states that the official CLAT website will soon publish details on the syllabus, exam pattern, marking scheme, fees, and eligibility, enabling applicants to prepare thoroughly ahead of time.
