The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a warning to students, parents, and stakeholders not to fall for duplicate mark sheet services from unauthorised sources.
The Board’s Regional Office in Delhi (East) said certain platforms are making false promises of quickly providing duplicate documents or making corrections. The CBSE has made it clear that these claims are baseless.
"These unofficial platforms have no affiliation with or authorisation from CBSE. Depending on them may result in
misinformation, financial loss, or other serious consequences," the Board said in its advisory.
All correct procedures for getting a duplicate certificate, making corrections, or availing other student and exam-related services are available only on the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in), its regional offices, or other verified channels. No other source is genuine or linked to the Board.
The CBSE also clarified that it will not be responsible for any problems caused by acting on information from third-party or unauthorised sources.
