Over 30 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams this year. Due to the excessive traffic on the website, students are not able to view their results very easily.

Thus, to hear the grievances of the students, CBSE has assembled a team of school principals and trained counsellors to launch their yearly tele-counselling sessions for Class 12 students who just received their result.

The tele-counselling would be available from July 13 to 27, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

According to an official release by CBSE, this is the 23rd edition of the post result counselling facility which is taking place with the help of 95 volunteer principals and trained counsellors from school I and outside India.

“While there are 73 Counsellors in India

including special educators, 22 Counsellors are located at Japan, Nepal, Sultanate of Oman, UAE, Singapore, Kuwait, Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and USA,” said CBSE.

The objective of the post result counselling is to provide parents and students with a platform where their psychological issued and queries related to the exam results can be addressed.

The Centralized Toll-Free Access number 1800 11 8004 dialed from any part of the country will give two options to the caller:

IVRS: Recorded useful tips to deal with exam results 2020 and other information on tackling stress, important contact details, Covid-19 precautions and so on.

Live Tele-counselling: Tele-operators will connect students and parents to the principals, counsellors and special educators.
