The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will introduce a revised curriculum for Classes 9 and 10 today through a special webinar, signalling a major update in the secondary education framework. The new curriculum will be rolled out from the 2026–27 academic session.
The session is scheduled to be held at 3 pm at the CBSE Headquarters in the Integrated Office Complex, Sector-23, Dwarka. Alongside the in-person event, the board will livestream the webinar on its official YouTube channel, enabling wider participation from educators and stakeholders across the country.
CBSE has confirmed that the revised curriculum aligns with
the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-2023). The updated scheme of studies will be introduced for Class 9 from the upcoming academic cycle.
During the webinar, the board will explain the framework titled Secondary Part One 2026–27 and highlight the key academic and structural changes.
In official communication, CBSE has asked all affiliated schools to download the complete curriculum documents for Classes 9 and 10, including the preliminary sections, and share them with teachers and students. Schools have also been advised to start making necessary preparations to implement the revised guidelines effectively.
