CBSE to close CTET February 2026 registration tomorrow

The application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will close on December 18 (11:59 PM). The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had opened registration on November 27, 2025, and will conduct the CTET 2026 on February 8, 2026. The official website is ctet.nic.in.

The CTET



is a national-level eligibility test that determines who can teach in Classes 1 to 8 across centrally administered and recognised schools in India. Conducted twice a year by CBSE, the exam is often a must-have credential for those aiming for jobs in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other government and aided schools.
