The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for Classes 10 and 12 for the academic year 2025–26. Students, teachers and schools can access the documents on the CBSE academic website, cbseacademic.nic.in.
This yearly release is more than just a routine update. It gives schools and students a blueprint to follow, not only to prepare for final exams, but to shape how lessons are taught and learned throughout the year.
In the same announcement, CBSE
confirmed that there will be no changes to the assessment pattern this year. The evaluation system will remain the same as it was in 2024-25.
This brings a sense of continuity for schools and teachers who have already adapted to last year’s structure.
This confirmation also means that students won’t have to deal with any unexpected shifts in how they’re tested.
For many, this consistency will allow for smoother planning, especially for those preparing for competitive entrance exams alongside board papers.
