The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expanding its administrative network with new regional offices, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and sub-regional offices to improve school governance across India.

The Board confirmed the decision following approvals in December 2024 and plans to operationalise the offices

between August and September 2025.

The Board has also issued a caution to students, parents, and stakeholders about false claims circulating online. Some platforms are misleadingly offering “quick solutions” for duplicate mark sheets, certificates, and document corrections. CBSE confirmed these claims are unauthorised.
