The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has organised the National Adolescent Summit 2025 at its headquarters in Dwarka, New Delhi on December 5, 2025, Reflecting the vision of NEP 2020, the summit was held under the theme “Empowering Adolescents: Voices, Choices and Wellbeing”, with the tagline “Creating Safe Spaces for Every Teen.”

The day-long event featured an engaging mix of sessions, including the Inaugural Session, two Plenary Sessions, three Panel Discussions, a Youth Engagement Segment, and a School Counselling Showcase.

Discussions focused on vital topics such as mental health, digital safety, identity and inclusion, healthy lifestyle choices, and future pathways. Esteemed psychologists, health experts, and counselling professionals shared their insights, while CBSE school principals skillfully



moderated the sessions.

Adding a vibrant touch to the summit, students showcased their creativity through Nukkad Natak, poetry, mime, dance dramas, and musical performances. The Valedictory Session concluded on an inspiring note with an address and performance by renowned singer Shri Diwakar Sharma.

Over 800 delegates attended, including more than 750 principals, vice-principals, counsellors, and wellness teachers from Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and over 20 other states and union territories. The event also saw international participation from Muscat, Oman.

The summit reinforced CBSE’s dedication to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments and highlighted its commitment to strengthening the wellbeing of students in line with the holistic education goals outlined in NEP 2020.
