The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has lodged a formal complaint with the Delhi Police's Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations Unit regarding coordinated cyberattacks on its post-result services portal.
The portal, launched on June 2, 2026, to assist Class 12 candidates with verification and re-evaluation, faced repeated attacks involving malicious
traffic from domestic and international IP addresses.
CBSE stated that the attacks were successfully mitigated through continuous monitoring by cybersecurity teams, ensuring no data breach occurred. The move to involve the police has raised questions about whether students and ethical hackers, who previously highlighted portal vulnerabilities, will face scrutiny.
