CBSE extends Single Girl Child Scholarship application deadline to November 20

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for submitting applications to November 20 for the CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child.

This initiative supports meritorious single girl students who have excelled in the Class 10 board exams and are continuing their studies in Classes 11 and 12 at CBSE-affiliated



schools.

According to the CBSE latest notification, eligible students who cleared their Class 10 examination in 2025 can apply online through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, by November 20.

The board has also extended the renewal portal for those students who were awarded the scholarship in 2024, allowing them to continue receiving financial assistance for the current academic session.
