CBSE extends Class 12 answer book scan request deadline to May 25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for applying to obtain scanned copies of evaluated answer books for Class 12 Board Examinations 2026. The revised deadline is now May 25, 2026 (midnight).

According to a circular issued by CBSE on May 24, the extension has been provided to give students additional time to submit requests for scanned copies of their



answer sheets. The earlier deadline was May 24, 2026.

The board stated that candidates should make use of the extended timeline and complete applications within the revised schedule. All other conditions related to the facility remain unchanged.

CBSE also informed students that the schedule for accepting re-evaluation requests will be announced separately.
