CBSE Class 10 second board exam datesheet out for May 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the schedule for the Class 10 second board examinations 2026. As per the notification, the exams will begin on May 15 and conclude on May 21, 2026.

The second board exam system is part of CBSE’s ongoing reforms aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP), allowing



students to improve their performance within the same academic year.

This initiative is aimed at reducing exam stress and providing flexibility in assessment.

According to the official document, all exams will be conducted in a single shift, primarily from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, with select subjects having shorter durations.
