The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results 2020 are all set to be announced on or before July 15, 2020, according to the notification released by the Union Ministry of Human Resource and Development. However, it is expected that the CBSE class 10 and 12 results would be declared without a merit list.

According to media reports, the merit list would not be declared because the marks being calculated on the basis of the evaluation method as the exams were cancelled due to the risk of coronavirus.

Although only a few students



appeared in the CBSE class 12 exams, their results will be declared on the basis of their performance.

Students who have appeared in only three subjects their aggregate of marks would be calculated on the basis of average score gained in the best three performing subjects.

“Their results will be declared based on performance in the appeared subjects and performance in internal/practical/project assessment. These students will also be allowed to appear in the optional examinations conducted by CBSE to improve their performance if they desire to do so.
