The Central Board of Secondary Education has started a month-long, in-person academic support programme for Classes 10 and 12 students in government schools, as preparation for the 2027 Board examinations gets underway.
The programme began on September 14 across 10 locations in the Union Territory of Ladakh. It focusses on strengthening subject knowledge and practical skills students need to approach Board exams with greater confidence.
For Class 10 students, the programme covers Mathematics and Science. Class 12 students will receive support in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and
Economics.
The sessions cover subject-wise preparation, assessment strategies, examination techniques and time management. Students will also be guided on effective ways to approach Board examinations.
CBSE has nominated experienced teachers and resource persons from affiliated schools across the country to conduct the sessions.
The board said the initiative aims to improve students’ subject understanding, build confidence and strengthen examination preparedness.
The month-long format gives students time to work through academic difficulties before the Board examination season begins.
