The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked all affiliated schools to thoroughly verify student details before submitting registration data and the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2027 board examinations, citing repeated errors and delays in previous examination cycles.
In a circular dated September 10, the board said the registration process for Classes 9 and 12 and submission of the LOC for Classes 10 and 12 would begin shortly. It urged schools to ensure that all student and subject-related information is correctly submitted within the prescribed
timelines.
The CBSE said schools must particularly verify the full name of the candidate as recorded in the admission register, date of birth, gender, category and full names of parents or guardians, including correct spellings.
Schools have also been asked to complete subject-wise registration according to the students' scheme of studies and submit photographs and signatures of candidates in the specified format.
The board cautioned that errors in the submitted information could lead to complications later in the examination process.
