The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus on Sunday conferred 744 degrees at the convocation ceremony of 2017 batch.

Of the total degrees conferred, 656 students got their bachelor's degree, 68 got their masters and 20 received their PhD's. Adithya Murali, Devendra Singh Shekhawat and Kinjal Jain were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals respectively for academic



achievements.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajendra Singh, water conservationist and chief guest said that he was extremely delighted to witness the milestones of success in the odysseys of so many bright students all at one place.

BITS Chancellor, Dr Kumar Mangalam Birla, in his message, encouraged the graduating students to stay focused and cultivate self-confidence.
