Bazm-e-Adab launched at MANUU

The Department of Urdu, Maulana Azad National Urdu University recently launched Bazm-e-Adab (Literary, Academic and Cultural Body of Students).

Addressing the inaugural session, Eminent writer and critic Prof Beg Ehsas said Bazm-e-Adab will not only nurture students’ multi-faceted talents but will also improve their language and expression. They will get familiar with the usage of proper words and its



pronunciation. 

Reading is essential for learning how to write. Students must study the well-known writers of the genre in which they want to write, he advised. To become a successful writer or poet, in depth study and practice are the basic prerequisites, he added.

School of Languages, Linguistics and Indology head department and dean Prof. Mohammad Naseemuddin Farees delivered the welcome address.
