8,792 teachers to be recruited in government schools

Education Minister Kadiam Srihari announced that a notification for recruitment of 8,792 teacher posts in the government schools will be notified in 15 days.

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) would issue a notification, he said, adding that it would take about six months for completion of entire recruitment process. Srihari said services of vidya volunteers would be utilised as the



academic year would begin.

It may be mentioned here that TSPSC has already notified 7,306 posts in the residential educational institutions societies across the State. The examination for posts of post graduate teacher, trained graduate teacher, and physical director is due on May 31.

The Minister said that there would not be any teacher transfers this year.
