Spurious coconut oil manufacturing unit raided in Hyderabad

Commissioner Task Force and Malakpet Police in a joint action busted spurious coconut hair oil manufacturing unit at Malakpet and arrested a person for indulging in preparation and sale of spurious Coconut hair oil on the brand name of “Parachute Coconut Oil”.

Mahaveer Jain hailing from Rajasthan earlier worked in MS Pipes Co. Jedimetla. Later he went to Delhi to work in a phenyl company, where he planned to earn easy money by manufacturing spurious products and supplying the same in the market.

Jain established Nakoda Enterprises an un-registered business, at Malakpet, Saleem Nagar where he began selling adulterated oil in the name of famous brand Parachute Coconut Oil. He used to purchase unbranded oil from local shops and filled it in parachute bottles with the help of filling machine.

Police seized over 4000 empty coconut oil bottles, one oil filling machine, two full barrels containing coconut oil, 70 filled parachute oil bottles, and other materials, besides duplicate labels.
