The accused, Wail Mohammed (31), had made an agreement with the victim’s family to marry her for three months. Mohammed, an accountant from Sudan, came to Hyderabad on November 14 on a visit visa.

Shamshabad SOT police said: “The accused, made an agreement with the family members of the victim, who hail from Vattepally in Mylardevpally, through a fake Qazi, Md Habeeb Khan from Jahanuma. He paid ₹1 lakh to the victim’s family through Habeeb and two other brokers, Shamem Sultana and Shabana Begum.”
